William H. "Bill" Dykstra

William H. (Bill) Dykstra, age 69 of Dousman, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 15, 2011. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Niclole Guerin-Dykstra, sons Duane Strohwig, Peter (Sarah) Dykstra, Paul Dykstra, step-sons Jon Rehfeldt and Aaron (Jenny) Rehfeldt, brothers Terry (Judy) Dykstra, Dennis Dykstra, Randy Dykstra, Scott (Joanie) Dykstra, Greg Dykstra, sisters Phyllis (Jack) Matoucha, Brenda Dykstra, Cathy (Jeff) Lesandrini. Dear Grandpa to Ashley Rehfeldt, Bryn Rehfeldt and Hunter Rehfeldt. Also survived by his best friend Bill Bauer along with many other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by his brother John Dykstra and parents Harold and Karina Dykstra. Bill retired from the United States Army in 1985. He was member of Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Dousman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and muzzle-loading. Bill enjoyed his retirement in the company of his family and friends. Funeral services for Bill will take place at Emmanuel United Church of Christ, 36821 Sunset Drive (Hwy 18), Dousman, on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 6:00 PM. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4:00 PM until the time of service. Donations can be made to the family, c/o Nicole Guerin-Dykstra, for a remembrance stone to be placed in the memorial garden at Emmanuel UCC.
