William“Duke”Harold Duchow of Oconomowoc passed away Friday, January 3, 2014. William is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Dorothy, children Cheryl (Joel) Tesch, Bob (Brenda) Duchow, Curt (Sue) Duchow, Vicki (Rob) Kuhl, William Jr (Donna) Duchow, 17 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren several nieces and nephews and many friends. William is preceded in death by his parents Clifford and Margaret Duchow, brother Richard “Cookie”, sister and brother in law June (Dick) Rowley, brother Donald Duchow, half- brothers Fritz and Butch Gartzke, and daughter Deborah Duchow. William founded the Faith and Hope Foundation for paralyzed children, he also played for the Racine Raiders (semi- professional football team) and founded the West Allis Racers. He was also a huge Badger fan, enjoyed golf, photography and cooking. Services for Bill will be held on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2014 at 5:30 PM with a visitation starting at 3:00 for family and friends, all to take place at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Oconomowoc. Burial will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM at Concord Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church-Oconomowoc
