William Schwarze

Schwarze, William 'Bill' age 92, passed into eternal rest on Wednesday, May 9th 2012. A greatly loved husband, father and friend. A native of Greenwood, WI, Bill had worked at the Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee, Briggs and Stratton of Milwaukee and later owned and managed the Norwood Tavern in Oconomowoc. Bill was a veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Lions Club, a past commander of the American Legion Post 91 and he was proud of his Lutheran faith. Bill is survived by his wife of 66 years, Lorraine Schwarze (nee Laufenberg), his son Robert, daughters Karen (Bill) Eller, Linda (Bob) Smith, 7 grandchildren , 18 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. Bill was preceded in death by his father and mother, 7 brothers and sisters and 1 great-grandson. Funeral services for Bill will be on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. with a visitation starting at 5:00 P.M. all to be held at Pagenkopf Funeral Home. Committal service will be on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia with full Military Honors.
